App name: VidStore Downloader · Package: video.downloader.hdvideoplayer · Developer: Naudera · Contact: i1s.abhishekp@gmail.com
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how VidStore Downloader (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our Android application. The App is a built-in web browser and media downloader that also includes a Status Saver feature for saving statuses you are permitted to save.
We respect your privacy. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identity information to use the App.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Summary (Plain-Language Overview)
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or precise location.
- Files you download and statuses you save are stored only on your device — we never upload them to our servers.
- We do not host, store, or distribute any third-party video content. The App accesses content directly from the websites you visit.
- We use third-party services (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Meta Audience Network) that may collect device and usage data to provide analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and purchase processing.
- You can reset your advertising ID, manage ad personalization, and uninstall the App at any time.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
The App does not include a sign-up or login system. We do not knowingly collect any information that personally identifies you. The only "inputs" you provide are the website URLs or search terms you enter in the in-app browser, which are sent to the relevant websites and search engines to load the pages you request.
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically by us or by our third-party service providers, including:
- Device information — device model, manufacturer, operating system version, language, region, and screen attributes.
- App usage and diagnostics — features used, in-app events, session duration, interactions, and performance metrics.
- Crash and stability data — crash logs, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash (via Firebase Crashlytics).
- Advertising identifier — your Google Advertising ID (AD_ID), used by advertising and analytics services. This is a resettable identifier and is not your personal identity.
- Network information — network connection type and status (used to manage downloads and connectivity).
- Install attribution — referral/install-source data provided by the Google Play Install Referrer service.
3.3 Content You Download or Save
Videos, images, audio, and statuses that you download or save are written to your device's local storage only. We do not have access to, collect, transmit, or back up these files. Deleting them is fully under your control.
4. Android Permissions We Use
The App requests the following permissions and uses them solely for the purposes described:
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Load web pages and download media. |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Detect connectivity and manage downloads. |
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE | Save downloaded files and read saved statuses on the device. |
FOREGROUND_SERVICE | Keep downloads running reliably in the background with a visible notification. |
WAKE_LOCK | Prevent the device from sleeping mid-download so transfers complete. |
VIBRATE | Provide haptic feedback for in-app actions and notifications. |
SET_WALLPAPER | Optionally set a saved image as wallpaper, only when you choose to. |
com.android.vending.BILLING | Process in-app purchases (e.g., removing ads / premium) through Google Play. |
AD_ID / ACCESS_ADSERVICES_* | Serve and measure advertising via the Android Advertising ID and Privacy Sandbox APIs. |
BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE | Read install referral data from Google Play for attribution. |
We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, SMS, or precise GPS location.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and provide the App's core features (browsing and downloading).
- Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve stability and performance.
- Understand which features are used so we can improve the App.
- Display and measure advertisements (where applicable).
- Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Deliver remote configuration and in-app messages (e.g., feature toggles, update notices).
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party SDKs and services, each of which may collect and process data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase Analytics — usage analytics. firebase.google.com/policies/analytics
- Google Firebase Crashlytics — crash and stability reporting. firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Firebase Remote Config & In-App Messaging — feature configuration and in-app messages.
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) — advertising. policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Meta Audience Network (AdMob mediation) — advertising. facebook.com/about/privacy
- Google Play Billing — in-app purchases. policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Services / Install Referrer — platform services and attribution.
These providers act as independent data controllers/processors for the data they collect. We encourage you to review their privacy policies. Google's overall privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Advertising
The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob and its mediation partners (including Meta Audience Network). These networks may use your Advertising ID and related signals to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
You can control ad personalization at any time:
- Reset or limit your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads).
- Opt out of personalized ads within the same settings menu.
Removing ads may also be available through an in-app purchase.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at i1s.abhishekp@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Data Retention
- Locally stored files (downloads, statuses) remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. They are not retained by us.
- Analytics, crash, and advertising data are retained by the respective third-party providers in accordance with their own retention policies and your account/device settings.
Uninstalling the App removes the App and its locally cached data from your device.
10. Data Security
We rely on the security measures of the Android platform and our reputable third-party providers. Network communication with websites and services uses standard secure protocols (HTTPS) where supported by the destination. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
Because we do not maintain accounts or directly store personal identifiers, most data subject requests are handled through the third-party providers (e.g., Google, Meta) or through your device settings (e.g., resetting your Advertising ID). For any other request, contact us at i1s.abhishekp@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
12. Intellectual Property and Acceptable Use
VidStore Downloader is a general-purpose web browser and download tool. It does not host or provide any media content itself. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to download or save any content, and that your use complies with the terms of service of the websites you visit and with applicable copyright laws. The App is intended for downloading content you own, content that is in the public domain, or content you are otherwise authorized to download (for example, your own statuses). Please respect content owners' rights.
13. International Data Transfers
Our third-party providers may process and store data on servers located in countries other than your own, including the United States. By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or on our store listing. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
