The extension doesn't see my grok.com tab+

Three things to try:

  1. Make sure you're on a URL that starts with grok.com/imagine
  2. Reload the grok.com tab after installing the extension
  3. Go to chrome://extensions → click "Reload" on Grok Automation
Downloads are saving to the wrong folder+

Chrome's downloads always go to your default download folder, but the extension creates a subfolder inside it using the "Folder name" setting (default: grok-batch). Change this in Settings tab → Downloads.

To pick a totally different parent folder, change Chrome's default download location: chrome://settings/downloads.

Batch stops mid-way without finishing+

Usually one of:

  • grok.com rate limit hit — increase the delay between prompts in Settings (try 60–90s)
  • Grok itself returned an error — check the Activity tab for the specific failure message
  • Browser fell asleep — disable Chrome's tab-discarding for grok.com

Will the extension get suspended by Google?+

The extension simulates the same clicks and keypresses you'd perform manually on grok.com — it doesn't bypass rate limits, auth, or terms. We're conservative with permissions (no scripting permission, no remote code). That said, Chrome's policies evolve and grok.com's terms could change. If something goes wrong, we'll communicate via the email of registered Premium users.
